Tragedy Health Backing

Emergency Health Aid provides insurance and medical assistance for travelers. It would protect you if you had to be airlifted off a mountain due to a skiing or hiking accident, or if you had to postpone for a stretched period of time in a foreign hospital. Insurers would also offer insurance cover if you got seriously sick or were injured and had to be flown home. Some commercial airlines require extremely sick passengers to ride on a stretcher with a doctor. Usually this means that you may have to pay for 10 or more seats on a plane at a possible pot cost of over $10,000.

Prior to purchasing this sort of coverage, confirm with your particular health insurance carrier. Find out what type of coverage you comprise when traveling in a foreign country and if there are any limitations. Also, request if the policy will pay to fly you home or to a country with first-rate medical care.
